Cultural Tourism Roundtable Workshop organized for Sydney officials and tourism operators

ICTC organized a Cultural Tourism Roundtable Workshop with key tourism operators and government officials at the Sydney YHA, The Rocks on September 1. This workshop was arranged to take advantage of the presence in Sydney of members of the International Cultural Tourism Committee and following the launch of the 2022 International Cultural Heritage Tourism Charter.

Among those who spoke at the workshop were ICTC President Fergus Maclaren, Vice President Bartomeu Deya, Caroline Butler-Bowdon (Cities and Active Transport Division, Transport for NSW), Create NSW / Destination NSW, Deb Zimmer (Bridgeclimb CEO), and the Sydney Harbour YHA.

After the workshop, ICTC members were given a guided tour of the Big Dig Archaeology Education Centre by GA2023 convenor and ICTC member Prof. Richard Mackay.
